Staff successes

Although we love to help our members succeed with their dogs, we like to work our own as well, in our different interests.

Jenny and Lyn have new young dogs, siblings in fact, and embarked on showing them in 2022 once they were old enough. Both qualified first time out for Crufts 2023. The rest of us wish them, and other club members who have also qualified for Crufts, the best of luck.

Their older dogs have been working this season, along with the older flat coat retriever having success in open showing.

Keryn enjoys Rally Obedience, although with a reactive dog, virtual competitions have been the way forward. Her older dog had two qualifying rounds over 190 points (out of a maximum 210), but missed out on his Virtual Rally Level 1 Excellent title by one point. His final competition of 2022 saw him receive a qualifying score in Level 2 as well.
